Patricia Lowe

Patricia Lowe, 89, of Batavia passed away peacefully on May 9, 2021. She was born June 12, 1931 in Urbana, Illinois to Elizabeth (Stevens) Eichhorst and Lloyd Eichhorst. She was a graduate of Downers Grove High School and William Woods University.

She married Ralph Lowe on August 23, 1952 and they were married for 60 years. Patricia enjoyed traveling with Ralph and spending time with her family and her many friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Patricia was involved in the community serving as a volunteer with the Friends of the Batavia Library, The Batavia Women’s Club, and at the Holmstad.

She is survived by her three sons: John (Michelle) Lowe of Chicago, Michael (Rose) Lowe of Lilburn, GA., and Timothy (Lori) Lowe of Batavia. Four grandchildren: Elizabeth (Doug) Walker, Kevin Lowe, Alexander Lowe, and Nicholas Lowe; two great-grand children Henry and Sarah Lowe, and two half siblings Lloyd (Jack) Eichhorst Jr. and Mary Garrison. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her half brother Fred Eichhorst.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at a later date and interment will be private at Yearsley Cemetery in Champaign County, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Friends of the Batavia Public Library.
