Patrick Sean McClain

Patrick Sean “Sean” McClain, 57, of Batavia passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Michealsen Health Care Center in Batavia.  Sean was born September 29, 1965, in Kirksville, MO the son of Donald and Rosamary (Gibson) McClain.

Sean was employed by Rental Max for the past seventeen years.  He was a graduate of Indiana University where he graduated with a degree in political science and Spanish.  Sean was an avid runner who successfully completed five Chicago Marathons. Always active with many talents Sean was an accomplished drummer who play for several bands in the area.  Most important in life was the love he had for his wife and his adored children. 

He is survived by his wife, Barrieann McClain; two children, Rachel and Kyle McClain; his siblings, Lois (Larry) Kuhn, Dawn (Tom) Quill, Scott (Lauren) McClain, Roger McClain, Donna Thornton and Andrew McClain; his father-in-law, Larry Jennings, and mother-in-law, Jeanette Lamb-Jennings and several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, great-nieces, great nephews and many friends. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two sisters-in-laws, and two brothers-in-laws. 

Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, November 11, 2022, at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. following the visitation.  Reve. Ken Carr will officiate.
