She is survived by her husband Timothy; two children Anthony Giometti and Hailey Giometti; Wilfred J. Perreault; three brothers Charles (Jeannette) Perreault, Daniel Perreault, Matthew Perreault; her father and mother-in-law, Victor and Teri Giometti; two sisters-in-law, Gina Perreault, and Nicole Giometti-Black; her nieces and nephews, Alexandra, Colton, Gabriela, Canyon, Kallie Black, Joey, Cameron, Madison, Dylan, Amelia, Adam Perreault, Xander Gramarossa, and Jessica and Elaina Rizzo; and her aunts and uncles Charlene (Patrick) Hallihan, and Elizabeth (Jeff) Weight. She is preceded in death by her mother Julianne Perreault. Paula devoted her life to her family and friends, always putting them ahead of herself. Not wanting her life to be defined by cancer, she believed it came down to a simple choice: “get busy living or get busy dying” and Paula was busy living. Whether she was working as the Assistant Dean of Pharmacy at Midwestern University or tending to her beautiful flower gardens, Paula was smiling and looking forward to the next adventure. Paula especially enjoyed family exploits, notably the Spring trip to Arizona every year. An avid concert goer and pseudo-hippie, Paula could be found listening to U2, Grateful Dead, The Beatles and many others while sitting in her patio lounge chair watching the butterflies enjoy the garden she created. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the funeral home is required to abide by state occupancy requirement. Please wear face covering and be prepared to wait in your cars or outside if occupancy becomes an issue. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Avenue Batavia, IL. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 Main Street Batavia, IL.
