Max A. Peckhart

Max A Peckhart, 95, of Batavia, IL passed away on April 27, 2021 surrounded by family. He was born on August 4, 1925 in Fort Wayne, IN to Guy and Clara Susan (nee Anderson) Peckhart.

As a child in Fort Wayne, IN, Max built and raced derby cars where his passion for engineering began. Served in the Navy before completing his engineering degree at Purdue University. Max then went on to a career at Motorola teaching himself computers which he used in post-retirement to teach at community college. His hobbies included PCs, woodworking, cards and photography.

Father of four sons Larry, Gary, Terry (Kathy), Barry (Rita M.) Peckhart. Proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Max was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife Rita A. Peckhart.
