Rheta M. Moore

Rheta M. Moore, 81, of North Aurora, formerly of Florence, AL., passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family.  Rheta was born on September 11, 1938 in Chicago, IL., the daughter of Peter and Marie (nee. Aiello) DiGiacinto.  She was united in marriage to Raymond B. Moore on April 22, 1967 in Chicago, IL.

Rheta was known for being; a story teller, boo boo kisser, teacher, seamstress, angel, advice giver, hand holder, sunshine, doctor, peace maker, mentor, confidant, problem solver, family Historian, shoulder, words of wisdom, cheerleader, cookie baker, hug giver, healer, inspiration, chef, counselor, memory holder and life of the party.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Raymond B. Moore; her four children, Mary Bickerstaff, Dee Van Puyenbroeck, Deb Bickerstaff and Albert Bickerstaff;  her eight grandchildren, Jimmy, Angela, Tony, Dustin, Krista, Ryne, Serena and Jack; her nine great grandchildren, Tyra, Jasmine, Jocelyn, Caden, Gavin, Braxton, Owen, Leila, and Keira, one great-great grandchild on the way, Miles Emmanuel David; one brother Albert DiGiacinto; and her niece Judy Spero who was like a daughter.

She was preceded in death her parents, her son, David Bickerstaff, and her six siblings.  

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
