Roberto Carlos Ramirez Jr., 35, of Batavia, Il. formerly of Warrenville, IL., passed away surrounded by his family at his home in Batavia, Il. Roberto was born on August 12, 1985 in Naperville, IL., the son of Roberto Ramirez Sr. and Carmen Ramirez. He had a tremendous love for music and art, especially for Phish, The Grateful Dead, and People Under the Stairs whom he followed closely in concert. His joy was followed by his little shadow, his daughter Althea, whom he called “Bear,” that was by his side wherever he went. To most of his family, he will be remembered as “Tito” and to his friends, “Berto.” But, to all of us we are going to cherish and remember him for his large heart, infectious laughter, and huge bear hugs. Roberto is survived by his daughter, Althea Rose Ramirez; his father, Roberto Ramirez Sr.; his sister, Noemi (Isaac) Conaway; paternal grandmother, Guadalupe Ramirez; his two nephews, C.J. and Dominic Conaway; and his co-parent, Stephanie Sposito. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Ramirez, and several friends and family. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia, IL. 60510.
