Ronald Lee Jones

Ronald Lee Jones, 77, of Anna, IL and formerly of Batavia passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the Illinois Veterans Home of Anna.  He was born December 21, 1944, in Valparaiso, IN the son of Homer and Ruby (nee Allen) Jones. 

Ronald served in the United States Navy from 1962 until honorably discharged March 5, 1965. Ronald was employed by General Mills in West Chicago for many years.

He is survived by his daughter Donna (Pete) Haag of Lebanon, TN, and grandson Jeffrey Haag of Chicago, IL. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Jones who passed away November 8, 2005.  

Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  A funeral service will follow the visitation time at 12:00 noon.  Interment will follow in West Batavia Cemetery in Batavia, IL.  

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ronald's name to The Salvation Army or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
