Sharon Ann Haugen

Sharon A. Haugen (Lennie), 87, of North Aurora passed away peacefully August 22, 2022 at the DeKalb County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  Sharon was born October 30, 1934, in Eau Claire, WI the daughter of Lester and Katherine (Pinger) Lennie.  She was united in marriage to Gordon Haugen June 1953. Sharon was a dedicated teacher, retiring after 25 years at Hammerschmidt Elementary in Lombard.

She is survived by her four children, Julie (John) Matheson, Stephen (Lynnaia) Haugen, David (Gail) Haugen, and Philip (Renee) Haugen; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren and her brother Reginald.

Sharon is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon, and her siblings Ronald, Marlene (Ed), and Joyce (Kenneth).

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 7:00 P.M.
