Stella Lynn Swenson

Stella Lynn Swenson, 62, of Aurora formerly of Plainfield and Wichita, KS passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.  She was born August 13, 1959, in Wichita, KS the daughter of Donald Keith and Margaret Joan (Sutton) Gillam.  She was united in marriage to Kent Swenson June 29, 1979, in Wichita, KS.

Stella was a selfless loving Christian woman who adored her family, friends, and her pets.  She dedicated her life to the service of other either through her career or through the many organization's she volunteered with.    

She is survived by her husband Kent; a daughter Jessica Swenson; three grandchildren, Ethan Nemechek, Matthew Nemechek, and Katie Norman; her siblings, Sharon (Monte) Rodgers, Steven (Michelle) Gillam, Sandra (Brian) VanDyke, and Stuart (Amy) Gillam; Two uncles and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home.
