Thomas Edward Nally

Thomas Edward Nally, 69, passed away at home in North Aurora on March 22, 2021 surrounded by family. He was born on February 19, 1952 in Aurora to Thomas R. and Joyce (nee Scheele) Nally. He was united in marriage to Mary Jean Thoma on October 22, 1976 in Aurora.

Thomas will be remembered for being a loving father, a good husband, and a hard work ethic. He was a true fan of the outdoors and the water, enjoying time on the Fox River and up at the family cabin in Arbor Vitae, WI. He truly enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to the Grateful Dead. He could always be seen tinkering on a project.

Tom leaves behind his wife Jeanie, his children Kristen Nally, Lauren Nally, Aaron (Bethany) Nally. In addition, he leaves 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and his pawed companion Bella.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws; Margaret and Roy Thoma, and his dogs Molly and Buffy.

Visitation will be held March 27, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 S. Batavia Ave from 4PM – 7PM. A funeral service will be held promptly at 7PM also at Moss Family Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
