Thomas Kent Ranft Sr.

Thomas Kent Ranft, Sr., 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center.  Thomas was born March 5, 1937, in St. Louis, MO the son of Virgil and Mildred (nee Schaefer) Ranft.  He is united in marriage to Nancy McDonald.

He is survived by his wife Nancy; two stepchildren, and two step-grandchildren; as well as, his former wife Kathy (nee Cullen), their seven children, twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a sister. 

Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Avenue Batavia, IL. 

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Holy Cross Catholic Church 2300 Main Street Batavia, IL.  A private interment and military honors will be held in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
