Warren R. Kodl

Warren R. Kodl, age 82, of Geneva, IL passed away on July 24, 2020 surrounded by his beloved family.  Warren was born on October 20, 1937, in Chicago, IL. the son of George and Martha (nee Henkel) Kodl.  He was united in marriage to Rosalie A. Swiderski on November 23, 1963 in Berwyn, IL.

He attended Farragut High School in Chicago, IL.  He served in the Navy from 1961 to 1963 aboard the USS Enterprise.  Warren was very active with his granddaughters, he attended every sport and school activity. He loved relaxing at his Wisconsin lake-home, enjoyed fishing and water-sports with his family for 30+ years. The captain of our boat will be forever missed. He loved home improvement projects, playing the accordion, cards and board games, always enjoyed his pizza and beer and will remain the families reigning scrabble champion.  He was a dedicated employee of AT&T and retired after 35 years in 1992. Warren was a member of the USS Enterprise Assoc. and Telephone Pioneers of America.

Warren is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Rosalie, his daughter, Linda (James) McArdle, and granddaughters Nicole and Julie.
