Wayne Robert Mackey

Wayne Robert Mackey, 83, of Batavia passed away May 4, 2020 at Michealsen Health Care Center, Batavia, IL.  He was born August 4, 1936 in Cass Lake, MN the son of Forest and Nona (Mercy) Mackey.

Wayne was a dedicated and hardworking perfectionist who loved his career.  He was working full time until his 83^rd birthday when his health would just no longer allow.  In his spare time, he spent hours enjoying the local casinos, playing golf or enjoyed card games with is family.      

He is survived by his four sons Kevin (Debbie) Mackey, Craig (Carrie) Mackey, Michael Mackey, Tim (Lisa) Mackey; nine grandchildren, Adam (Patricia) Mackey, Christopher (Tamra) Mackey, Jacob (Kendall) Mackey, Spencer (Aysa) Mackey, Stacey Mackey, Camron Mackey, Even Mackey, Rachel Mackey and Andrew Mackey; and three great-grandchildren Avery, Elayna and Coleson.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, John Mackey, Florence Ellis, Gerry Nyberg and Lucille Davis. 

All funeral services will be held private.
