William H. Zimmer

William “Bill” H. Zimmer, 88 of Geneva and formerly of Saugatuck, Michigan, passed away April 24, 2020 at Citadel Care Center in Elgin. He was born January 26, 1932 in Chicago, IL the son of William James and Esther (nee Hansen) Zimmer.

Bill served in the United States Army. He was an avid Chicago baseball fan although he enjoyed all baseball, he favored the Chicago Cubs. Bill loved music and became accomplished with the piano and drums.

He is survived by his brother, James (Leanna) Zimmer; his sister Berret (Craig) Uchiek; his nephews Brian (Lyn) Condon, Shane Zimmer, Lance Zimmer, and Scott (Heather) Zimmer; a niece Lisa (Eric) Morris and a loving uncle to his great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Zimmer.
