Bertram “Bert” G. Wisbrock, Jr.
December 26, 1934 - May 11, 2025 Bertram (Bert) George Wisbrock, Jr., 90, died peacefully Sunday evening May 11, 2025.  Born in 1934 to Bertram Sr. and Marie Wisbrock of Villa Park, IL. Wed on April 27, 1957 to the love of his life, Phyllis Krisch Wisbrock, who preceded him in death.  Bert was a family man who enjoyed making popcorn for family movie night. Little league baseball with his boys, supporting and encouraging dreams of his family and bowling filled his younger years. Later he sang karaoke with the best of them. He enjoyed playing games, like Pinochle, Farkle and Dominoes.  A carpenter by trade had him precisely cutting firewood to perfection for a campfire even into his late eighties.  Forever young at heart. Greeting everyone with a smile and giving away Miraculous Medals was his favorite pastime in his later years. Always wanting to make a positive difference in the lives he was blessed to touch.  Father of Lynne (late John) Schneegas, Cathy (late Patrick) Kelley, Ray (Jeanne) Wisbrock, Mark (Mary) Wisbrock. Preceded in death by daughter Janice Borndahl. Grandfather of Mike Schneegas, Sean Schneegas, Heather Schneegas, Lisa (DJ) Hird, Cindy (Adam) Snider, Greg Kelley, Stefanie Jenkins, Adam (Lauren) Wisbrock, Kyle (Taylor) Wisbrock, Ashley (Michael) Stone. Lisa (Brian) Bending, (late Mark) and Robert (Nicole) Praner Great grandfather to Tommy and Katie Hird, (late Joseph), Ella and James Snider, Eli , Kennedy and Brooklyn Jenkins, Landon and Ruby Wisbrock. Nick and Kenzie Bending, Cody and Hailey Praner Preceded in death by siblings Virginia Heinricks, Lois Wohler, Earl Wisbrock, Fred Wisbrock, Darlene (Mike) Salgado, Marge Schneider, George Wisbrock, and David (Bonnie) Wisbrock. Also survived by Ed (Barb) Wisbrock.  Uncle and cousin to many, friend to many more.  Bert was a man of great faith, which he loved to share with all he met.
