Concetta Picardi

August 17, 1937 - June 21, 2024

Concetta “Connie” Picardi nee Cribari was born into eternal life on June 21, 2024. Connie was born in 1937 in Chicago, Illinois and married the love of her life, Paul Picardi in 1958. Connie and Paul raised their family in Hillside, IL. They were married for over 50 years when Paul passed away in 2013. She is survived by her four children, Anthony, Lynda (Frank) Maurino, James (Laura), and Paul (Debbie). She was the beloved grandmother of Frank (Bridgette) Maurino, Joe (Lea) Maurino, Pauline Picardi, Anthony (Destiny), Mark Picardi, Michelle Picardi, Kory Brown, and Lylia Brown. She was the proud great-grandmother of Isabella and Madison Maurino, Aiyla and Hailee Picardi, and Anthony and Arya Picardi. She  is also survived by her beloved sister, Toni Sinacola. Connie was loved by all she met. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Connie loved to cook and anyone who stopped by her home was always welcome to join the family for dinner.  She worked for many years for Allied Van Lines and retired from Carson Pirie Scott & Co. The family would like to express its gratitude to the caregivers and staff at Bickford Senior Living in St. Charles, IL for enhancing Connie’s quality of life for the past six months. A memorial service is planned for a future date and inurnment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery will be private.Guest BookShareEmailPrint
