Kay D. (Foote) Campagna

Kay D. Campagna Obituary Kay Dene Campagna, age 84, of Geneva, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 5, 1940, in Elgin, the daughter of George and Dorothea (Lester) Foote. Kay lived most of her childhood in Dundee Illinois and after graduating high school at Dundee High School in 1958 she went on to nursing school in Dixon Illinois and became an RN.  Kay then married Joseph Campagna in 1962 and moved to Geneva, IL  and they had 6 children together which were her pride and joy.  Kay led a spiritually significant active life and had leadership roles in what ever she became interested in.  She loved to play golf and became the President of her Valley Green Women’s league and she loved ceramics so much she went on to open her own Ceramic Shop for some years called KC Ceramic on Stevens Street in Geneva.  She also enjoyed bowling, knitting & crocheting, and she journaled everyday. She worked at the Eagle and Jewel grocery store(s)in St Charles on Priarie Street for a combined 25+ years until her retirement just 2 years ago. Kay had many lifelong friends and whoever knew her, loved her and she loved them back equally. Kay is survived by her children Christine (Dave) DuBois of South Elgin, Denise Campagna of St. Charles, Vincent Campagna of North Aurora, Cathleen (Rob) Horn of Geneva, Teresa (Brad) Probst of St. Charles, and Anthony (Jennifer) Campagna of West Chicago; siblings Jim Foote of Huntley and Jan (Larry) Alexander of Sycamore; 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren, She is proceeded in death by her parents and brother Michael Foote. A visitation for Kay will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 9:00 am until the time of her memorial service at 11:00 am at the Malone Funeral Home 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.
