MARGARET CLESLE

MARGARET CLESLE

Date of Birth

February 21, 1942

Date of Death

July 16, 2023

Margaret Clesle, age 81, of Algonquin, IL, passed into the arms of her Savior on Sunday, July 16, 2023 and is now reunited with her husband Walter.

She was born February 21, 1942, in Chicago, IL, to loving parents, Edward and Anna Rzeppa.

Margaret grew up in Chicago and attended local schools. Following graduation from high school, she worked at Hitchcock as a secretary for several years. During this time she was united in marriage to Robert Boren. They adopted two children to help build a family, Wesley and Gretchen. Later, grief would come to call when Robert passed into memory in 1989.

Love would find Margaret again when she met Walter Clesle. They were joined at the altar in 1992 and they made their home in Algonquin until the Lord called Walter home in 2014.

Margaret had a penchant for design and found a home in the world of flowers. She ran her own business out of her home and attended countless craft shows. Her designs delighted both the eyes and the heart, making smiles by the hundreds.

Walter joined Margaret to help run the floral business, traveling to exhibitions in a tri-state area. Margaret and Walter took in the sights and sounds of the world during their trips to Mexico and throughout Europe. Nothing could compare to family and the love she shared for them eclipsed everything else in her life.

She now leaves two children, Wesley Boren and Gretchen Boren; one granddaughter; two grandchildren and a family of friends.

She now joins both her husbands, Robert Boren and Walter Clesle; her parents, Edward and Anna Rzeppa; five siblings: Don Rzeppa, Ed Rzeppa, Dorothy O’Shea, Sister Rita Rzeppa, and Ann Maine who preceded her in death.

A memorial visitation at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 25, 2023, will be followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Fox Valley Christian Church, 40W150 Main St, Batavia, IL 60510. Private family burial will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Memories and tributes may be left on the Conley Funeral Home Facebook Page, or at www.conleycare.com.
