PHYLLIS MAIER

Phyllis Allene Maier (Scott) of Louisville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the young age of 94. Phyllis was born December 14, 1927 in St. Charles, IL to Paul and Theo (Woods) Scott. She grew up in Wasco, IL. Phyllis loved her Cubs and enjoyed watching old Western movies. She enjoyed traveling with her “Partner In Crime”, Shirley. Phyllis was feisty with quick one-liners and a great sense of humor. She was truly one of a kind.

She is survived by her children: Janice (Ron) Brown, Willy (Patty) Maier, Karen (Santosh) Bhatt, June (Doug) McCaslin and Keith (Donna) Maier; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her infant son, her sister Blanche, and her brothers: Leonard, Beryl and Robert Scott.

A memorial visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday, February 11, with a service to celebrate her life to follow at 7 p.m., at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn, IL 60119. Interment will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL.
