Richard H. "Dick" Gorski Obituary Richard Herman “Dick” Gorski, age 79, of Batavia, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 21, 1946, in Chicago, the son of Henry and Eleanor (Meskell) Gorski. Dick met the love of his life in high school, and they married shortly after. He earned his apprenticeship at Flexonics, Bartlett, IL and continued his career at FermiLab in Batavia; ultimately leading to his own tool and die shop, AvTech Design in Elgin, IL. Above all else, Dick devoted himself to his family. He enjoyed attending sporting and school events, college visits, and most of all talking with his children and grandchildren about anything and everything around the kitchen table. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Patricia (Montalbano); children Cheryl (Jeff) Link of Minnesota and Caryl (Dave) Anderson of Indiana; grandchildren Alyssa (Mike) Warner of Minnesota, Mason (Jess) Anderson of Kansas, Brady (Lana) Anderson of Ohio, Riley (Carly Ruggeri) of Chicago, and Regan Anderson of Chicago; great granddaughter Blake Warner; brother Henry of Arizona; and many other dear relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by sister Eleanor (Gorski) Danbury and parents. Funeral Prayers will be held Monday, May 4, 2026 at 9:30 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E.
