SHARON FISHER
Date of BirthFebruary 9, 1943 Date of DeathApril 30, 2024 It is with deep sorrow and fond remembrance that we announce that Sharon Fisher, 81, of Big Rock, IL, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. She was born on February 9, 1943, in Mt. Vernon to Lawrence and Alleta Hall (Jenkins), where she was raised until she moved to the Kaneville area. Early on in her career she pursued her passion for beauty, graduating from the Mt. Vernon School of Beauty and becoming a skilled beauty culturist. Sharon found joy in her work and in her community. For 31 years, she served as the dedicated Office Manager for the practice of Dr. Robert Hansen in Elburn, IL, where her professionalism and compassion touched the lives of many. She cherished her membership at the United Methodist Church in Sugar Grove, IL, finding solace and community in her faith. Sharon was known for her love of family, her adventurous spirit, and her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. She found joy in spending time with her loved ones, particularly enjoying trips to Florida with her son and granddaughters, tending to her garden, and taking leisurely drives through the countryside to observe the deer. Sharon is survived by her granddaughters, Shannon and Sadie Ryan. Her memory will be cherished by her granddaughters as well as by several close family friends and cherished relatives whose lives she profoundly impacted. Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Fisher. She also mourned the loss of her two sons, Todd and Dan Ryan. A celebration of life will be held privately by her family at a later date. |
