Tim Welander, age 65, passed away suddenly on January 22, 2026. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished brother and son. Tim is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cindy Welander. He leaves behind his children: Stephanie (husband Jason), Jason (fiancé Vessie), Jake (wife Chelsea), and Nick (wife Bailey). He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Noah, Lyla, Piper, Zoe, Kaden, and Colson, who brought him endless joy and pride. Tim was the son of Gaylord and Mary Welander and is also survived by his sisters, Sandy and Pam, and his brothers, Jim and Rick, all of whom held a special place in his heart. Tim had a deep love for air shows and never missed a chance to watch planes soar through the sky. He also treasured the time he spent working on cars with his sons, sharing not only his mechanical skills but also countless memories, lessons, and laughter in the garage. Those moments will be remembered as some of the most meaningful times spent together. Above all, Tim will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his hardworking nature, and the quiet ways he showed his love.
