Anne M. Stagno Obituary Anne M. Stagno, age 92, of St. Charles, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Brighton Gardens in St. Charles. She was born June 16, 1933, in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of George and Helen (Banasiak) McMahon. Anne was the heart, soul and backbone of our family. An amazing wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and human being, Anne leaves behind so many warm memories and stories. As a devout Catholic, she always led by example. She was a teacher, volunteer, and a lifelong mentor. Her magnetic and selfless personality left her surrounded by friends in all chapters of her life. She was a person you felt you knew for a lifetime, even if meeting for the first time.  Married 59 years to Frank, they enjoyed life to the fullest, traveling worldwide at first, and then becoming snowbirds on Marco Island, Florida. But wherever she lived, it was always home and the doors were always open.  Anne was a person that will never be forgotten by anyone fortunate enough to have crossed her path. Anne is survived by children Karen (Michael) Kelly of Bloomingdale, Cheryl (Ruel) Bransford of Carol Stream, and Anthony (Christi) Stagno of Geneva; grandchildren Kori (Chris) Pitaro, Kyle Kelly, Cole Bransford, Erin (James) Borchert, and Ryan (Tessa) Bransford; great-grandchildren Ethan Heritage, Reece Bransford, Carson Borchert, Nathan Pitaro, Bennett Pitaro, and Olan Bransford.
