Robert K. McMahon

Obituary Robert K. McMahon, age 80, of Elburn, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in 1941, in Benton, Illinois, the son of James and Lottie (Manis) McMahon. After serving his country in the US Navy, Robert was employed at ATT (Western Electric) for 30 years.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on and restoring his 1930 Model A, as well as membership in the Fox Valley Model A Restorer’s Club.  His greatest pleasure was sharing his life stories with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Carol (Narva); children Daniel of Batavia and Marcia (Matthew) Sullivan of Westchester; grandchildren Brianna and Kylie Sullivan; and many other dear relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Adron, Alma, James, Marjorie, Patrick, Roy, and Carolyn.  Services for Robert will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), 1 N. LaSalle Street, Suite 1200, Chicago, Illinois 60602 would be appreciated.
