Ruby Martinez Obituary Ruby N. Martinez, age 86, of Hampshire, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, at home with her loving family by her side. She was born February 13, 1939, in Anderson, South Carolina, as one of eleven children, the daughter of Beuron and Rosa (Gibson) Higginbotham. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Paul; children Debra (William) Hanna of Brookfield, Paul (Annmarie) of Woodridge, and Gina (David) Rodriguez of Hampshire; grandchildren TJ (Liz) and Jonathan (Sarah) Clark, Gabrielle Martinez, Elijah (Shea) Packley, and Jesse and Cecelia Rodriguez; great grandchildren Emma, Addison, Penelope, Benjamin, and Maxwell; and many other dear relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son David. A graveside service for Ruby will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11:00 am at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia at the Court of Hope Sanctuary A.
