Susan J. Granquist Obituary Dr. Susan J. Granquist, PhD, International Teams, and published author, age 60, of Huntley, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born January 13, 1965, in Geneva, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Staples) Granquist. Susan is survived by her husband of 34 years Terry Cabak; mother Mary Granquist of Batavia; sister Nansi (Don) Thilges of Batavia, nephews Zachary and Brandon Thilges; niece Natalie Thilges; great nephew Caleb Thilges; dogs Xerxes, Tiberius, and Maximus; and many other dear relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and brother Jeffrey. Interment will be held privately at West Batavia Cemetery.
